Hallmark Homes is a family-owned and operated homebuilding company founded in 1990 by Mike Fitzgerald, a Coeur d'Alene native whose family's roots run deep in the region's timber industry.  Raised on a ranch on Blackwell Hill across the river from Coeur d'Alene,  Mike's passion for construction stems from a lifelong immersion in the industry.

Before embarking on his homebuilding journey, Mike honed his business acumen in the banking and accounting sectors before establishing North Idaho Insulation, a company specializing in quality home insulation. After years of experience as a subcontractor, Mike recognized the need for a construction company that prioritized the needs and aspirations of new homeowners. This vision led to the inception of Hallmark Homes.

Following in his father's footsteps, Mike's son, Michael, joined the company, bringing his extensive construction expertise. Michael has gained hands-on experience in every facet of homebuilding, from framing and supervising subcontractors to collaborating with clients to personalize their dream homes.
